Butter Chicken Drumsticks

Try using chicken drumsticks in your next butter chicken, it will be a family favourite for sure!

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 8 chicken drumsticks
  • 1 red onion, chopped
  • 1 red capsicum, chopped
  • 495g jar Chicken Tonight Mild Butter Chicken Sauce
  • Fresh coriander leaves and naan bread, for serving

Method

STEP 1
Heat half the oil in a large non stick frypan over high heat. Add chicken drumsticks and brown on all sides. Remove and arrange in a single layer in an oven proof dish.
STEP 2
Add remaining oil to pan and cook onion and capsicum for 2 minutes, stirring regularly until softened. Pour in Chicken Tonight Sauce and bring to the boil. Pour over chicken drumsticks.
STEP 3
Cover dish with foil and cook in a preheated oven at 180°C for 30 minutes. Garnish with coriander and serve with naan bread.
Tips
Serve with basmati rice also to soak up the delicious butter chicken sauce.
