About Us
A much loved iconic household name since its initial launch in Australia in 1993, Chicken Tonight has been delighting families for over 25 years. Renowned for its ‘I feel like Chicken Tonight’ jingle and accompanying chicken dance from the much-loved 90’s TV commercials, Chicken Tonight continues to make dinner time meals something to savour for both Australian and New Zealand families.
Chicken Tonight was originally owned by Unilever when it first launched Australia. It was then acquired by Symington’s in 2011. After 5 years under Symington’s ownership the Chicken Tonight brand was purchased by Simplot and since 2017 has been produced proudly in our Echuca manufacturing facility in Victoria, Australia.
Located near the border of NSW, the Echuca facility has over 130 employees and partners with local farmers who source the majority of our ingredients. We are proud of the investment we are making in the future of Australia through our Australian manufacturing operations.
