Turkish Style Plant Based Lamb Pizza

Sweet caramelised onions form the base of this delicious Turkish inspired pulled lamb style pizza.

Ingredients

  • 2 x 30cm pre prepared pizza bases
  • 2 tablespoons garlic oil
  • 100g pre prepared caramelised onion
  • ½ green capsicum, thinly sliced
  • 200g packet frozen Birds Eye Plant Based Greek Lamb Strips, thawed and torn
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 200g punnet cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup baby spinach leaves
  • ⅓ cup plain yoghurt

Method

STEP 1
Drizzle pizza bases with oil, top with caramelised onion, capsicum, thawed Birds Eye Plant Based Lamb, mozzarella and tomatoes.
STEP 2
Bake in a preheated oven at 220°C and for 12-15 minutes or until cheese is golden brown and lamb is cooked through.
STEP 3
Served topped with spinach, drizzled with yoghurt and seasoned with pepper.
Tips
Make your own caramelised onion by heating 2 tablespoons oil in a frypan over low heat. Add 3 thinly sliced onions, season to taste, cover and cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring regularly. Stir in 2 tablespoons each of brown sugar and balsamic vinegar and continue to cook for a further 8-10 minutes or until onion is caramelised and sticky.
